thank you JOanna Gates from the Town of Fort Erie, museum email account!
I couldn’t READ the name of the school!
I took a few photos of Harold Chisholm as he proudly holds up a story he wrote when he was a child while attending School – Elsie English in the 1970’s.
His teacher whom we’ve kept in contact with all these years (Harold’s 45 now!) is Bev Jewson.
Many of you know her as a local author who writes about the history of Fort Erie, Ridgeway and Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada. Now she’s compiled a book for her small classroom of students 🙂
AS a Bi Centennial celebration of the school’s students.
It was cool to read Harry’s cute little story about one of this class trips!
Lucky ducks! They went to all sorts of cool places! Bev Jewson I wish you had been my teacher! WOW! 🙂
